I think you mean 18AC and 19HK? (There is no 18HK)

The whole of the front row of premium is always under airport control. Priority is generally given to people with babies, disabled etc. After that I have anecdotal evidence they go to gold/silver FC members on request and/or friends/family of crew/checkin staff.

Best chance of getting 1 of these seats is to arrive at the airport as early as you are willing.

18A/C are good IMO. They don't have anybody on the righthand side as the galley wall extends out further towards the rear, so they are kind of recessed forward. 19A/C are slightly forward again with the bulkhead is roughly aligned with 20A/C.

You can only get them at the airport, and as they are basinet positions, if there are babies in Premium, you will be out of luck. As a Gold, I have been refused in the past, and at outstations it's even harder as the staff are less likely to bend the rules. My best luck in attaining these seats is via Clubhouse concierge.

Your last chance saloon will be asking the FSM/FSS as soon as you get onboard, if the manifest shows them as empty - you may be allowed to move, but only once final boarding is complete.

I got 18A by chance on my last flight to BGI. I had a call from FC the day before I flew to check I was ready for my flight and asked if there was any chance of requesting it. An hour later my seat assignment had been changed. It was great, and there was no-one next to me - double winner

The people in the row behind me said they thought I was off duty crew and the crew int eh galley thought I was a travel agent....neither applied, just luck.
