Premium economy baggage allowance question

We are just about to fly internally in the US and our 3 bags weighed almost bang on 23kg each. I believe our flight home from Vegas next week gives us 2 x 23kg each in PE, but will they care if I for example have 1 bag that weighs 30kg instead of 2 that weigh 23kg each?

Just weighing up the benefit of buying a cheap canvas holdall to pack clothes in.

Yes, they will care.

Your allowance is 2 x 23kg, not 46kg. Bags that weigh over 23kg will incur fees.

Thanks, I thought as much. I guess we were lucky last year when Ba let us share our allowance.

Generally we always have one bag that is overweight and thankfully never been charged as our other bags are generally under by a lot.
It’s normally because I put all the toiletries in on particular bag ( and I pack full size toiletries!)
