Hi everyone,

Is 3hr 25min sufficient time between two flights at SEA with different carriers on separate bookings? We are booked on the following flights in separate bookings:
LAS 07:47 - SEA 10:35 DELTA
SEA 14:00 - LHR 07:00 VIRGIN

The Virgin flight was originally 20:00 and so we had planned to spend the day in Seattle. With that flight now coming forward 6 hours, just wondering if we have enough time in case of disruption.

3hr 25mins is more than enough time, in my view, for a US domestic to international flight transfer assuming there are no delays on the morning fight. When you check in at LAS make sure to ask the DL agent to check your bags through to LHR; they will need to see your other booking ref, but given the JV this shouldn't be a problem.

6 hours earlier is quite a reschedule though, out of curiousity how much notice have they given you of this change?

We’ve known for quite a few months. Nobody actually contacted us but I saw the change on manage my booking. There isn’t the option to acknowledge a change anymore so not sure how they ensure that you are aware. The Delta domestic flight changed too but we got an email about that.

That's really odd, did you book direct through VS or V-Hols? I have 8 Flights in the pipeline at the moment and a few have had schedule changes as little as 10 mins and all of them have had emails AND text messages from VS, but all of them have been booked direct.

You might want to check that you contact details (phone number and / or email address) are saved within your VS bookings.

When viewing your bookings via the desktop browser, expend the section that says 'Add contact details (optional)' section. There doesn't seem a way to view or edit this info via the app though, unless I'm missing it?

If you book direct with VS, it seems even though you fill them in during the booking process, your contact details often don't get pulled through to your actual booking!

I've currently got 4 x PNR's, 3 booked direct, 1 booked via an online travel agent. The only one where I was getting texts/email alerts for schedule changes was the agent booked flight until I went in to each one and saved my contact details.
