My offer was for 15k bonus miles per month, but despite spending over the £1500 per month limit since the offer started on 6th June I've received no bonus miles so far. I've submitted a secure message, so we'll see what they say!

The miles are - allegedly - being posted a month in arrears so the first ones should only have started appearing on statements sent over the weekend (2 months from the promotion start date).

Statement date was August 17th, so well over two months since the promotion started.

The first qualifying period didn’t start until June 18th so if they are, as stated, posting a month in arrears I would expect the first bonus points to appear on statements produced on or after August 18th.

So I’m guessing you’ll have to wait until your September statement as your August one was a day or two too early.

So today I got a text saying "your direct debit is set to minimum payment" despite me setting it to "full amount" as soon as I activated the account. Next time you are in your accounts you might want to have a double check of yours just to make sure nothing has changed.

Just to say that I most definitely qualified for a 15,000 mile bonus on my statement this month and it hasn't been applied. I don't know if it's best to wait until next month, or start harassing them now ;)

Secure messages seem to be a bit hit and miss as to if and when you get a response and then if there’s avtually any messages to view in your account. I received three emails at the weekend informing me they’d sent me a secure message however on logging in there are no messages..... ho hum

Exactly the same here, 2 "you have mail" messages and nothing at all when I login.

Found them! In the Correspondence option choose 'View Service Request History' rather than 'View Messages'

I finally got a password manager a couple of months ago. Best thing, really nails the problem with passwords for me, too many, too complicated and too hard to use given the variety of password types encountered. I went for 1password and definitely don't regret it. If you have a nice long random complex password, it will display it on the screen in nice big letters (consider not using in public view) with the characters numbered.

It is worth checking you get the correct number of bonus miles as was detailed in the personalised email that you received

Although I did get the initial bonus, my August statement doesn't have any bonus miles.

Ah nice...miles and first month's bonus miles deposited in single transaction in flying club account as per September statement. I'd not had to "manufacture" any spend for months' 1 or 2 but I might have to pay attention this final month - good to know it will be worth it and the bonus is posting - if (hopefully!) a month in arrears...

is there anyway of finding out what my sign up bonus was as I have forgotten what mine was.

i have been given by 15k sign up bonus but haven't received a monthly spend one yet despite spending over £5k on my card last month

I never got any offers despite emails asking why - and getting no reply. Not impressed with Virgin on this. And as a side issue, the card itself is so crap looking that a lot of merchants look at it as though it is something I knocked up using photoshop, recycled plastic straws, and a 3D printer. "Won't those numbers rub off?" and "It's hard to see the writing" are the two comments du jour it seems.

Aaaaand I didn't get any bonus miles in September again. When I contacted them last month they said they would be on the next statement but no.

So another service message sent! My wife's were posted as expected.

My saga continues....

No bonus miles this month either; now they say their records show I am entitled to only the 15K sign up bonus and no monthly offer! They asked me to send them a copy of the mail or email which of course I no longer have.

did they offer only a sign up bonus...?
