Wave from quiet LGW clubhouse

First flight out of LGW in a couple of years, of course delayed by fog.
So, first time in this CH, feels more like LHR but without the crowds, although not sure if today is an exception because it is remarkably quiet.
Anyway off to Orlando and hope the TSA is better than last time although when you get a txt from Virgin warning of delays before the flight actually leaves it is a worry.

PS just for info for anybody interested, they are coming round today offering sign up bonuses for the Virgin card.

I wouldn't worry too much about the text as I think they send it out as a matter of course at the moment while building works are going on at MCO. I'm pretty sure we got one in May but getting through immigration was no worse than usual. There were no machines in use at that time so we all queued to see an immigration officer and there were no customs forms to complete....indeed, there was nothing at all where customs used to be!

Have a great flight and hopefully a quick trip through arrivals - our June / July trip didn't have a wait at immigration but the baggage claim was a complete and utter mess and took over an hour until bags started to appear. Hopefully after a few months the new belts and screens are there and the text does turn out to be ill informed.
