Flying to FLL via JFK tomorrow so thought I’d give the brand new Crowne Plaza T4 a whirl instead of the other Crowne Plaza which is starting to show its age now. Highly recommend so far :)

Fantastic service so far and a very nice room. It’s accessed via the same tunnel from T4 departures level as the Hilton T4, but you turn off before you reach the Hilton.

Booked a standard King room, Its very nice and quiet on the 3rd floor.

(photos fixed now)

I'm on the VS137 tomorrow and the plan is to be in the Clubhouse from about 09:30ish

VS won't let me check-in online again....I sniff a SSSS coming my way again!!

That looks nice and close to the terminal.
I'd be interested to know how you go to T3 this morning.
I'm off from Heathrow in Feb and have booked the Premier in that little group. (£35 for the night!)
I have considered going over there to do a dummy run on the train. I'm a bit concerned as our flight has been moved forward to 9.30

Have a great trip.

Currently sat in the VS Clubhouse, used what was the HEX to get from T4 to T3.

Now it’s run by TFL, you either need a free ticket or you can use your Oyster card (no charge for this either).

There are currently only 2 trains running every hour (22 mins past the hour and 47 mins past).

No surprise, but I have got the dreaded SSSS here!!

The Clubhouse is packed today. The VS103 and the VS3 are both delayed which is not helping!

I've found a quiet spot up in the den area

Greetings from the Clubhouse from me too!

Here early to do some remote working before the VS11 to Boston. Just tucking into a fancy croissant from the new menu.

James I'm by the stairs on the tables (where the pool table used to be), green hoodie if you want to come say hello.

In great news, the old connections centre outside has been demolished so the views over the apron are back! Will try to post some pictures :-D

So so so glad that Flight Connections centre has gone! I have only ever been in the CH since 2015 so have never known any different quite excited about seeing extra light that will no doubt be afforded!

Glad you enjoyed your meet up lads! I have personally met two V-Flyers! I've got quite a few flights coming up so would be nice to meet some more of you :)

Looks like I was the last to arrive!!

Very enjoyable flight, even in Economy Delight. TR to come but crew were excellent and really layed on the FC Gold treatment in spades. The guy sitting behind me thought I was an off duty pilot because of all the special treatment!!

Have an enjoyable trip James and Mike!

8:40 to NYC?! What happened? It was only an extra 30 minutes to MIA today.

Wonderful to meet you both.

MIA was a breeze to get through. Waited for the bags more than anything else. It’s no longer the hell hole it once was.

I spent most of the flight by the bar (!) and even though UC was full, the majority of passengers were there on miles. A superb crew across the Atlantic today. The steak was a bit tough and reminded me of a FlyerTalk thread where someone was telling the BA crew how to cook it. Even if I knew the secret, I’m not sure I could bring myself to ask, even though today’s crew would have been more than accommodating.

I spoke to a gentleman heavily into the mileage game but hadn’t heard of this site or FT, so hello to Andy if you’re reading.

The plan was to head to a bar, but for the first time ever, I’m a little bit alcoholed-out, and enjoying watching the planes approach MIA from our balcony at Nautilus hotel - I recommend.
