VS16 diverted into dublin today

Hi all Does anyone know why the vs16 was diverted to Dublin today? It was just approaching Ireland at around 08.30 when it changed course and headed north into Dublin. Thought it would have been just as quick to go in to Gatwick if they had a problem. I believe that English rose is still in Dublin.
