No longer need to book ahead with DTCI

Hi

I will be arriving in a cab at DTCI on Friday, so as you no longer need to call ahead is it just a case that someone will greet me, take my case and then they just check you in as normal once inside before you go through to security?
If this is the case then I may just get the bus to terminal 3 as I am staying on Bath rd.

Yes, basically. They can only pre-print your boarding card and luggage labels if they know you’re coming.

You can still call ahead if using a cab though - particularly if you use a service like Uber which will tell you the car details before it arrives.

Whats the number to call for the Wing? I remember when I went to DXB in July, I ended up speaking to Swansea and they said "oh dont worry about it"

0344 412 4666. I just called them and it turns out that they no longer require notification of passengers going throughDTCI, you provide them with the info when you buzz in and they will meet you at the door. I think this would slow the service down as before the boarding passes and baggage lAbels was already printed.
