Starwood to Virgin Conversion

I've got 80k+ SPG points, was looking to transfer these to Virgin had previously read that there was a 5k bonus on each 20k(or maybe 25k) transferred but when i log in and try its giving me a conversion rate of 3:1??

Is this a recent thing?

May have been some changes following the SPG and Marriott merger.

You would get 25k virgin miles for 60k Marriott points

Did the transfer on the 18th December still no sign of them.... says to give it 6 weeks which is up in a couple of days.....

Still no sign of the life insurance miles either...

When I converted some Marriott points to VS last year, the process was almost instant - so I would be tempted to chase up now.

Made contact with them, I have to let the 6 weeks elapse it seems, this is despite me transferring points earlier this week and having them transfer almost instantly as you said.... these weren't enough to qualify for a bonus so wondering if thats whats causing the delay.
