Exciting news!!

For those of us who have enjoyed BAredemptionFinder.com exciting news in my email:

We've launched Virgin Atlantic support - plus a new name!

We're very excited to announce that today we've launched support for Virgin Atlantic. It works exactly the same as British Airways, with the same great features:

When you know where you want to go, see all of the availability on one page and set up alerts so you'll know as soon as seats become available
When you don't know where you want to go, discover what's available with an easy-to-use map (exclusive to Elite members!)
Going live with our second airline means that being called "BA Redemption Finder" no longer makes sense. We're now Reward Flight Finder, and you'll find us at https://rewardflightfinder.com.

Become an Elite member for £3 per month and you can get hourly alerts and access to the "I don't know where I want to go" search tool for British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Hi Stuart,

Thanks for posting this - I had an immediate browse!

As it says 'on the tin', it only shows the VS operated direct flights but interestingly when choosing LON rather than LGW it did pick up on the LGW-LAS/LAS-LHR combination for end of March.

The biggest help to me is saving the long-winded search to get a foothold on the VS website for reward flights on routes with limited availability (where you had to try multiple durations and months with flexible dates to get a first foothold on the VS website to bring up the matrix to view what date combinations available). Now you can spot two immediate dates (an outward and a return) on rewardflightfinder, chuck them in on the VS website and then once the matrix of fares comes up you can start scrolling +/- dates and see both direct and indirect (with stops) options.

I might burn some miles today :-)

Thanks again,
Tim

Stuart

Thanks for the post; a really useful link and, as Tim says, the ability to view outward and return flights on one screen is very useful.

We were looking at reward / miles plus money flights on Saturday night and repeated the exercise, last night, with your link as we have accumulated sufficient miles for quite a few trips.

We can be very flexible on dates, so the subscription model isn't of benefit to us.

Stuart, thanks for posting this; I've been using it since you posted.

One thing I was finding slightly annoying is that you had to search a return when using "I don't know where I want to go." I'm unsure if it was based on some feedback I emailed or if it was a planned feature, but you can now search one-way "I don't know." This is great for those Florida trips where you don't care if you end up in MCO, MIA, ATL or even further up the East Coast. Equally handy for those travelling West Coast trips.
