£160 for 25,000 miles

Hi,

Had an email regarding the credit card sign up.

"Earn 15,000 bonus miles with your first card purchase within 90 days of account opening.
Plus, get an extra 10,000 miles when you apply on or before 28 February 2019 and spend £1,500 within 90 days of opening your account"
I'll easily hit the spend criteria so is the £160 worth the amount of airmiles?

It depends how much you want the miles.
If you opt for the free card you will still get 10,000 miles so you are really paying for the extra 15,000
BUT over the course of the year you get twice as many miles from the plus card so that is something to add to the equation.

Unfortunately it’s only 50% extra miles from a plus card. It’s earning 1.5mile/£1 spent.
