Can anyone shed some light on the reason why? Just curious as I was booked on this flight to get home after a wonderful trip to LA, Hawaii and San Francisco but got a little homesick and decided to change to the day earlier and just got an alert from my tripcase that the original flight was cancelled. There was some bad weather due there but I think that was Tuesday onwards and other flights seem to have not been cancelled such as the BA flight. Could it be light loads, so everyone shifted to the 9pm departure?
VS19 opped as normal with GVFAN so can only assume it’s gone tech down route

VFAN is currently on way back as VIR20P so I presume that's a positioning flight?
If light loads were involved then VS would have cancelled it weeks ago to avoid paying out under EU261 for a cancellation within 14 days of the flight.
Also there may not have been a light load on the outbound and cargo is a consideration as well.
