In a couple of weeks, I need to be on a conference call whilst on board. It should only last 15 minutes. I’ll prop up the bar to avoid being a nuisance but should only have to talk for all of 5 seconds regardless.

It’s an 0333 number. Any idea of the recent call charges? I guess it’s carier based too? I’m with Vodafone with all the roaming things switched on.

It will be charged at the satellite call rate .

Search for airlines in the Vodafone roaming list on this page then select handset and then select pay monthly or PAYG.

It looks to be about £2.40 a minute to make or £1.80 to receive calls.

Personally I don't find 'Aeromobile' stable enough, I've always suffered delays, I don't think it's good enough for a conference call. WhatsApp Audio, Skype, FaceTime Audio all work fine, it's going to be cheaper and clearer to use the WIFI.

The VS site says: "The charges are almost the same as they would be if you were roaming from another country".

AeroMobile is also only installed on the A333s and the B744's as well. It's not on the A346s or the B789s.
