Morning all from the Heathrow Clubhouse

After a great flight down from Edinburgh last night, barring a loader that spilled it guts of hydraulic fluid, got stuck against the plane and had us surrounded by fire engines at the gate, it was onwards to the Sofitel at T5 and I couldn’t resist the opportunity of an upgrade to a suite for £69 which was fantastic.

After a great nights sleep in what’s got to be the quietest airport hotel I’ve been to, it was a quick journey on the Heathrow Express to T3 and now sitting awaiting a glass of bubbles after my (first) breakfast.

Apart from an absolute nightmare that’s just happened at work, this trip is turning in a star one
