Hi all

We're looking to book flights for our honeymoon later this year - plan is outbound: LON-SEA and inbound: LAX-LON. We're looking at outbound mid September to mid October 2019 for a 3 week break.

We have just about enough miles to be able to travel both outbound and inbound in UC (a lot of miles to redeem but it's only your honeymoon once, hopefully!!), however due to wanting to watch some US sport and the schedule not being released until mid-April, booking anything now would be a gamble, as the team we want to see may not be at home when we visit!

I know it's impossible to tell, but based on previous experience, does anyone have a feel for whether there'd still be UC fares available for these routes when we're ready to book in mid April (5 months in advance of when we'd like to travel)?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/feedback.

Cheers
Jack

LHR-SEA - pretty decent chance
LAX-LHR - far less chance (but not impossible)

Reward seats tend to be far scarcer on overnight flights back from the US generally, and LAX in particular as VS gets a lot of last minute UC bookings from the entertainment industry.

But if you’re flexible with dates and maybe location (eg back again from SEA which has less demand than LAX) you might strike lucky.

Good luck.

Hi - just a quick Q relating to this - a search on flights now says UC is either "sold out" or "not available" - are the seats actually sold out or just not released yet?

I'd be surprised if it's true that LON-SEA for September UC is already sold out?!
