So I’ve got Easter off, no on call no major projects! Been looking for something cheap
to do!

With 19 hours notice I managed to get Premium flights to New York and a Hilton near the World Trade Center!

Anyone in the Clubhouse later today? I will be on the VS25!

Have fun!

Rain is forecasted Friday afternoon, night and Saturday morning, hopefully it will stay dry for you. Meanwhile, here in the North West of England it's looking like it'll be mostly sunny with top temperatures of 22c.

Enjoy & have a great weekend in NYC. If you're at the Millennium Hilton on Church St (right opposite the WTC site) and have suitable Hilton status, try and get them to give you a high-floor corner room. The views from some of those rooms are excellent.

Kraken, that is the exact hotel, and I have stayed in the Junior corner suites before and you are absolutely right the views are stunning. However, the hotel is totally full (I find this odd that I was able to get a redemption for relatively few points (39000 per night) at such late notice, but I do always do a quick check on availability before I go into the property so if they deny you an upgrade you can challenge it and sure enough the app was saying at 2300 last night Sold Out for These Dates!

Nonetheless I did get a deluxe room on the 52nd floor, so the views are still pretty stunning.

Just out chilling in Greenwich village for the day now.
