Considering how likely it is a low bid for LHR-SFO to be accepted , 12th May vs41. PE>Upper

They are only selling another 6 seats in Upper so unlikely to be cheap. However there is only 1 seat left in premium so who knows.

Last month, with many more seats in Upper available, I was offered an upgrade at online check in of around £650 which was only marginally more than the lowest bid.

It’s all really the work of the dark arts.
