Adding Flying Club Number to KLM Flight

Hello Everyone,

Long time reader of this forum. I feel that I know many of you already just by reading your posts!

Thank you all for your very useful information and guidance- it has been very helpful (and even sometimes very amusing!). I took early retirement from IT in Scotland and now live in Cyprus but still always come back to the UK to pick up VA flights across the pond when I’m going over. Which leads nicely into my question if anyone can help.

I have been looking at flights from MAN-JFK. (Booking with money). I assume that I can link through Shops Away to someone like ebookers to pick up some more miles? When I look for the flights I get 4 options for the same flight (each of the flying partners VA, Delta, AF and KLM) all on the same VS Aircraft but with varying prices. If I book the seats on say, KLM, can I add my Flying Club Number to that booking, either on the KLM site or later on the Virgin site to get the flying miles added to my account.

Who ever you use to make the booking should give you the option during the booking process to enter your Flying Club number.

As soon as your Flying Club number is linked to the booking, it should automatically show up in your list of flights once you log-in to your Flying Club account either via the website or using the VS app.

The flights will have KLM flight numbers but other than that there should be no noticeable differences. You would still check-in online using the VS website or VS app.
