Noticed that G-VYOU has been sitting at LGW for close to a month now after being in storage for 2 months prior...anyone know whats going on with it?
I think Miss Heaney will be the first of the remaining 346 to leave the fleet. She's not in very good condition at all and with just a few weeks before 2 x 351 enter service, she's probably on standby should there be any unforeseen delays with the new metal.

Wasn't she supposed to be going to South Pacific Airlines along with G-VFIZ, or is that not happening now?

Interesting. Is there a scrapper there or is she there for something else?

She's been purchased by European Aviation (the company that bought Etihad's entire fleet of A340-600s), so there's a chance she may fly again

Thanks for the info. I guess we'll see what happens to her

She has a new home now in Nigeria.
Economy has been left as it was with Virgin, but PE and UC have been replaced with economy seats, with 2, yes just 2, business class seats stuck on the middle of the front row. All very odd!

Not the most comprehensive re-livery ever seen too!

Nice to see she has got a new home rather than just heading to the chopping block.

That must be some capacity, an A340-600 filled with economy seats !

411 economy and 2 business!
Do we know where G-VFIZ is currently, following her sister?
Is FIZ also going to Azman? Thought she had been/was going to be scrapped
I'm loving the quality of the paint job...

Fly's a little too much.
