Hi

I have a 10:10am flight, but overall I will be travelling for roughly 26hrs from LHR to Colombia (dont ask). As I will be staying at a Premier Inn, I was thinking off skipping the shower here and using the shower in the CL instead.
Is it frowned upon people living in the UK to use their showers as they may want to reserve it for people that are having a layover via LHR?
Also, do the slippers have to remain or can you take them with you?....figured it would be handy for the flight.

Thoughts please.
Thanks

Absolutely not frowned upon. The Clubhouse facilities are there for all eligible customers to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

It would probably take a fair amount of digging for Clubhouse staff (i.e. the Concierge's) to find out where you live. With the GDPR in place accessing your flying club account (assuming it's linked to the booking) for anything more than your status level / tier points / miles balance is a no-no.

The only time it's probably easy for Clubhouse staff to find out where you live / work is if you've got a complimentary CDC on your Upper Class booking. Even so, on the outbound leg once you've made it to LHR, the CDC element of the booking for that flight is no longer relevant, so should have been deleted as per GDPR.

as above, the showers are there for all to use

i use them most times, good way to relax before a flight, usually check for a free one as soon as i enter the lounge

if there's a wait, the staff will book one in your name and advise when it's likely to be ready

no issue taking disposable slippers if you want them, just don't pinch the towels :D

Perfect! Thanks for your replies. Look forward to kick starting my holiday with a lovely shower, breakfast and a virgin red head or two. Fingers crossed the IFE, table and bed all operate as they should at the same time ;-)
