Hoping someone can set the record straight for me. I’m flying UC (miles ticket) to Delhi. On the same night my partner and 3-yr old daughter are travelling PE (cash tickets) to Jo’burg (an hour after my flight). The Virgin website says that you can only bring a guest into the Clubhouse if they are flying on same flight. But I have seen references saying that there is some flexibility to to get a guest in even if they are travelling on a different flight.

Can someone set the record straight for me? Can I guest my partner in even though she will be on a different flight? Will I be able to pay to get my daughter in too?

VS stopped flying to Dubai at the end of March this year so you won't be on VS metal any more and so won't be able to access the VS Clubhouse either unfortunately.

I would guess / hope VS have re-booked you on a different airline if you booked the reward flight before the end of March?

VS Clubhouse guests do still need to be on the same flight as well.

I'm afraid not. As you note VS rules are guest must be on the same flight as the host.

I've not seen any flexibility on this TBH. There might have been in the old days before DL moved to T3 and VS operated less flights and of course the old guest rule only mentioned flying on a VS flight until it changed to same flight which IIRC ws around 3 years ago.
