I am travelling on VS075 MAN to MCO on Saturday. I was surprised to receive an email today asking whether I would like to select my meal.
The choices were:
Stir Fried Pork
Chicken and Mushroom Casserole
Asparagus and Ricotta Gnocci

This is an excellent enhancement, especially as I often sit at the rear of PE in the bubble!

Worked fine for us. Used it for our return to UK today. Admittedly upper and from/to Gatwick but it does seem to be working. A very good enhancement.

Same menu as my VS7 flight last month. I went with the gnocchi and it was a bit bland, my girlfriend went for the stir fried pork (it came with noodles) and it was delicious.

I hope we get this option when we fly from LAX to LHR in January! We usually request special vegetarian meals, but they tend to be bland amd the veg meal offered on the menues have better sides and sweets :-D

LAX is on the list for both Upper Class and Premium Economy Pre-Select, from this page (scroll down and expand the Pre-Select section to see the full list of routes Pre-Select is available on):

I didn't mind the gnocchi. They didn't send us the preselect email for my last VS3 trip (and crew said nobody had selected so it must have been a glitch). All the pork was gone by row 25! Was gutted. Took the chicken casserole because I'd had the gnocchi before and didn't like it. Other people seemed to be tucking into it though so maybe just personal preference. Sadly the "friendly" crew guy didn't offer me anything else, even when I handed back the full bowl.
Dessert at the moment on the ex LHR flights seems to be passionfruit slice which tastes like something a supermarket's cheap party cake to me. Economy do better if they still get a Gu pot.

The return ex US choices have been: paneer makhani, Hawaiian barbeque chicken and beef stroganoff. Better dessert of key lime pie. .

Hmmm - its Monday, we're leaving on Wednesday and no pre-select email... I went ahead and requested vegan for my husband but I'll just keep my fingers crossed that the vegetarian option is avail on the flight!

Have you checked your spam folder?
Both of my recent flights - one in UC and one in PE - I got the email but it went into my spam folder.
Ordering worked perfectly both times.

Final Update for anyone who finds themselves in the same situation. I sent a text to customer service, they responsed in less than 10 minutes, gave them my flight info, and they sent me the link to my online ordering - easy peasy!
