Apparently the CH has recently re-opened after a refurb.

From one mile at a time

The lounge will be open to Priority Pass members daily from 6AM until 12:15PM. Priority Pass members can access the lounge for up to three hours, and guesting privileges are based on the type of membership you have (meaning those with most premium US credit cards will be able to bring two guests).

Given those hours it's not going to affect VS passengers as (as with other VS / PP lounges) they will kick out PP people before opening it back up as a proper CH.

Like with the LAX CH, it likely will offer very limited food and drink options during the Priority Pass hours. At LAX in the morning, the DL Sky Club in T2 is far preferable in terms of amenities. The only nice thing about the CH there is it’s unpopular during its PP hours so that makes it not crowded and relaxing.

If the lounge is just sitting there un-needed all fo those morning hours, VS might as well earn some cash off of it.

Does anyone know what time the new Delta (VS) flights to Boston and New York will be ? They might extend the Clubhouse user into the afternoon ?

A quick search on google flights

DL to BOS - 11.00 - 13.27

VS to JFK - 13.55 - 16.40

Which are actually pretty good departure times (strokes chin with paw)

So both within the current CH hours.

Apparently (according to Head for Points article on the same topic today) PP only pay lounges £15 per person so perhaps VS don't feel they need to put LGW into PP?

Plus as ColOrd says there are other PP lounges and perhaps even they have a limit on how many lounges they will offer per terminal?

If VS were going to 'rent out' the CH then the option might be to other airlines offering long haul from North but that would depend on the times of their flights.
