ex-DUB'ers - any issues not taking last leg?

Just wondered if ex-DUB flyers had any issues with not taking the final leg back to Ireland at all?
Would be doing a DUB-NYC run, and was hoping to not bother with the last leg from LHR to DUB - either on BA or Aer Lingus.

Need the miles and TPs for the main VS Biz - so wouldn't risk that, but is there any way VS knows if you don't take the BA leg?!

We’ve done it multiple times without issue. They like to check your bags all the way through though, so either go HBO or arrange your onward connection from LGW.

Are there any good DUB deals at the moment?

just wanted to be sure the VS miles and TPs posted normally, when you skip final leg.

I'm not aware of any better than normal DUB deals right now, sadly.
