Don't know if it's an old video but just watched a YouTube video of an emergency slide deployed on a virgin 747 at Manchester. Seems as if the gate gourmet truck has activated the slide.

That would also explain the ~6hr hour delay for the VS75 departure I noticed on Saturday as well.

The driver was very lucky as when this happens those slides do deploy with a great deal of force.

I don't understand why someone would be filming a food delivery. I have a feeling these sorts of videos are staged.

I would agree with this if the actual incident was captured on film, but I suppose in this case they were filming the aftermath?
Either way the slide looks a bit knackered!

Yes, the slide had already deployed when the video started. It was just wedged up between the exit door and the catering truck until the truck moved backwards to release it.
