Miles about to expire - options?

Hi, after clocking up numerous flights, not flown Virgin for a few years but will be again in the near future.
I got the email to say my miles will expire in the next 30 days, I wouldn't mind keeping hold of them.

What's my options here to keep the account running?
Purchase miles?
Do Tesco still do the Clubcard vouchers?
Virgin Trains still operates as a ticket selling website, do they still do miles?

but it's all about them posting to your account before the 30 expiry. Sometimes it's easier if you're tight for time to pay £30 to buy 1000 miles which will post straight away and extend your expiry by three years.
