Virgin Atlantic credit cards axe European fx fees

Some good news for once, no more FX fees on European transactions with the Virgin Money provided Virgin Atlantic credit Card, from 16th April.

A start...just need that rolling out to outside Europe as well.

I never use my VS card abroad anywhere for this reason.

I have a Nationwide Select credit card and FlexPlus debit card, neither of which incur any foreign transaction fees anywhere abroad now for either spending or ATM withdrawals.

It's been harder to find a card that gives rewards that you can use fee free abroad. My Tandem cashback card closes this month, which leaves my MBNA Horizons card which I assume some here will have. So, nice to see a new option appear.
