...We all flew on the Little Red inaugural?

The many drinks had (by some) the night before, the 4am alarm call, the somewhat chaotic check in and security at Manchester, the breakfast and easter eggs laid on by VS at the gate.

Then once on board the flooding front toilet leading to only the front half of the plane getting any service!

I've recently reformatted my trip report from the weekend here:

The videos are linked there too, where Slinky provides a running commentary throughout!

Aahn yes.
I was there.....Thanks for posting, James.
Some of us stayed overnight prior to the flight in MAN at the Hilton...JFenney,Mitchja, Slinky, Sealink...and others who's names escape me..Sorry!.
A quick Hilton shuttle bus to meet up at the Radisson for dinner...A great evening .
Bleary eyed the next morning and all made it through the security scrum to the lounge where, I think, Slinky demanded bacon butties...or was it Gin?!!
Then off to the gate, where we met with V-Flyer's Pete.
Nice to see you've got 2 pictures of me on your link...back of the head though!

Good memories...Another V-Flyer Social somewhere, sometime, anyone?

Yeah, I remember the tale about Slinky and the butties now! Although being status-less, I wasn't able to witness this first hand.

So, quite a lot was drunk the night before, 'twas an early start and a little chaotic and fuzzy - default mode is to get some bacon butties into one's belly to help ... however the lounge staff said you could only have "one each" IIRC ... I think I did manage another one but can't quite remember how ... anyway upon landing a little pub visit helped the recovery whereas many went home to rest!

I wasn't there, but I do have some very very fond memories of Little Red and reading your trip report was a lovely warm trip down memory lane!

I am of course grateful I am still about to read all about it, having failed to be able to get on the trip ;-)
