Looks like G-VFIT is currently in Lagos... leaving only G-VNAP on the ground today.

Curios to know what's occurring with them as I've seen so many different stories around!

Answered my own question above. Reached out to a source at VS who have been told that the A340 fleet has been stood down. There are a few rostering/operational issues that have come from retiring the fleet so suddenly, so there will be a couple of odd flights here and there over the coming days. But that's essentially that unless there are some big changes to the current worldwide situation in the mean time.

We flew LGW to St Lucia yesterday (Saturday) and our departure was slightly delayed as an A340 was towed along the taxi way behind us... So they are still moving!

Unfortunately, there's lots of space at Prestwick - maybe Gatwick is running out of space with all the grounded aircraft ?

Sad to see the A340-600's finally go, but the writing was on the wall for many years. Never got the chance to fly one either.
Saw some photos of G-VBUG in the process of being scrapped at SBD, made for a sad sight!

It's now registered 9H-EAL by Maleth-Aero, but I see European Aviation is involved with the airlift. That must also be the first time I've seen Paul Stoddart's face in the media since the days he owned the Minardi F1 team!
