I hope this finds everyone safe and well, if a little stir crazy!

I am after some advice/help.

I have reward flights booked for July 2020 to Orlando using miles and credit card upgrade vouchers. With the way things are going it is highly unlikely that we will go, so I need to work out what is best to do.

If I cancel my flight I should get back my miles but what happens to the vouchers I used as these would be out of date? Are they just lost? Is there anyway to save them?

Would I be better moving the flight to another date? Ultimately I would want to go July 2021 but those flights aren't released yet. Do I therefore move the flight to another random date and then to my actual dates when they become open or is there an open ticket option?

Any advice or further suggestions/options would be welcome. Obviously I am hoping that Virgin survives this, fingers crossed!
Thank you

Not sure if this will help...

Our friends were in exactly the same position but with BA, they were using AMEX vouchers that were about to go out of date.

The voucher dates were extended for them, miles and money all refunded and they have now rebooked for later in the year.

Refund was all sorted for them over the phone. Though with Virgin my experience was that WhatsApp was the quickest and best way to communicate (text and phone was useless).
