Looks like G-VEII is going into service today and heading to JFK as the VS9.

The VS9/10 route looks to be an A339 route now as I'm also on the VS9 next month and that's also showing as an A339.

The next A339 due for delivery in May (MSN 2061) will be G-VSRB (Ruby Rebel). More details can be found here.

VS confirmed via twitter today that they already received it. Not sure how reliable it is is though.

LOL, that's Twitter (or X or what ever it's called now) for you! Refer them to their own press release as it's mentioned there as well:

.....The airline’s fifth Airbus A330neo, which will enter service from May,.....

Another way to check is by looking up the A/C registration using the online CAA G-INFO database search. No sign of VSRB in there yet. A/C only get added to that database on or around their date of delivery.

G-VSRB hasn’t done any test flights yet so is likely around 4-5 weeks away from delivery and will probably be delivered around the same time as G-VELJ, which has recently been painted and sports the Oscar flying icon.

Four assembled Virgin aircraft currently at Toulouse in various states of readiness.
G-VELJ/F-WZGM MSN 665 A350K at the flight line. Had its 1st test flight 26th April so about 3-4 weeks from delivery. Understand in Leisure config? Currently on stand M90 (can occasionally be viewed on Flight Radar)
G-VSRB/F-WWKD MSN 2061 A339 at the flight line. Arrived there before VELJ but then appeared to go back to the hanger. Currently no logged taxi/engine check or test flight but must be imminent. Parked next to VELJ on stand M110
G-VRIF/F-WWYN MSN 2070 A339 location?? Last logged on one of the 4 stands outside the A330 hangar at the end of March in primer presumably without engines
G-VEYR/F-WWYO (typo in the log?) MSN 2078 A339. Currently on stand 18C outside the A330 hanger in primer presumably without engines.

What are the names of RIF and EYR?

The only list of reg/name I've seen was back in 2021 - RIF didn't appear on that list. I did wonder if EYR is a typo and could be EWR? This was originally going to be Liberty Belle but discussions on here back in 21 thought that name would be unlikely. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

G-VSRB (F-WWKD) A339 had its first taxi check and RTO at Toulouse on Wednesday 8th May. G-VELJ (F-WZGM) A350K had its second test flight on Tuesday 7th May. * G-VSRB had it's first test flight Friday 10th May

Booked flights LHR-MCO yesterday, and although the outbound was the usual 333 (17th March) it was a nice surprise that the return is showing a 339.
Not holding my breath that it'll stay like that.

Delivery is currently scheduled for Friday 14th June. This will likely mean she will enter service on Virgin’s 40th birthday on 22nd June.

Sounds like something has gone tech and the new A339 was the only spare A/C.

Wonder if this is as a result of the 24hr delay of VS186 on Fri/Sat? Made it from ANU but stopped in BGI for a day before return flight. Got me wondering as we’re due on the outbound flight next week

They've had issues with Miss Sunshine for months now with the APU - wonder if it's broken (again).
