Companion Voucher

As a single person is there any value or way to utilise a companion Voucher. I have had a quick look and don't find anything obvious.

None that I can see which is why I'm liking the new Flying Club Gold renewal voucher system from Oct 30th as you can now have an upgrade voucher instead.
