I have been flying with VA for almost a decade and have always enjoyed the quirkiness of the brand and the chirpiness of the flight attendants.
However, I took a few UC flights last year, and have just done a return from LAS this month and in most cases, the service provided was pretty miserable.
For example; some staff clearly didn't want to be there, while others were too busy flirting with passengers to provide any service. Food and coffee were served either cold or lukewarm, and there were 20-30 minutes between asking for a drink and receiving it. Overall they were just miserable flights.
Perhaps this is typical and I've just been super lucky in the past, but it's put me off the brand (never mind the recent reward flight changes).
