Trying (but not succeeding) to find some flights for this summer. Seems VS has "adjusted" some of their schedule.

VS91 LHR-MCO now departs 08.20 and arrives 13.05
VS92 MCO-LHR departs 16.40 arrives 06.20

Now necessitates an overnight in LHR if you are any distance away and virtually ZERO time in the clubhouse if flying Upper.

Not checked anymore, but with this and the horrendous cash prices and mileage redemptions, are they actually wanting any customers ? There is zero incentive to fly Virgin Upper from Heathrow to Orlando on these flights.

Hmm I’d actually prefer the early departure from LHR.
Ok yes the overnight stay at LHR but quite a few cheap hotels in the area.

Clubhouse opens at 6am. Get there for 6, you will have at least 1hr 20 minutes before gate is announced. Enough time for 1 or 2 cocktails!

I liked VS3 last summer to JFK with a departure time of 08.25 I think it was. Arrived into JFK well before noon, and virtually no one at immigration.

Early arrival into MCO, bonus to getting to hotel earlier…
Arriving 6.20am back into LHR, great for me to then get a late morning flight back to CH, but also making use of the arrivals lounge

Yes I'm frustrated by this time change too. I'm booked on this flight and it has gone from a nice leisurely start to the day with some good time relaxing in the clubhouse, to getting up at 5am and having hardly any time at all to enjoy the clubhouse. While there is a later flight, that does get in to Orlando quite late, so now both options are quite poor (for me).

These early arrival times might be aimed at buisness travelers.

VS104 arrives LHR at 0620. That would get you to a morning meeting in the City, with time to eat and shower at Revivals.

We live in North Wales. These 06xx arrivals give us time to get the direct 0900 departure from Euston.

Pretty useless for tourists going to London. If you want to arrive later, there are flights on DL. There isn't much difference between DL and VS in transatlantic premium economy.

I think there is an advantage in it'll likely avoid all the MCO queues at immigration at the older terminal though.

Personally I'd be tempted to book it for that reason, given by time you do immigration, car rental pick up and drive to Disney it's pretty much bang on check in time.

I'd also be tempted to book the early arrival and later departing back to UK MCO flight as a combination personally to maxmise my stay.

Worth noting though, that we do indeed, always stay over at LGW or LHR for any MCO flight as we already live too far away to drive on the day.

VS had problems with the MCO flights in December and January. The LHR and MAN flights do aircraft swop in MCO. But the LHR flight was getting in late and that flight then becomes the VS74. By moving VS91 forward it should prevent costly delays.

Update I think I jinxed VS91 it diverted to Tampa after writing this post :-O
