G-VKSS had its final revenue flight for Virgin on 13th January as VS134 ANU-LHR and is now stored at LHR until it is picked up by Wamos Air.

G-VSXY and G-VGEM are supposed to be the next ones to leave the fleet this year.

Flown in all cabins on this aircraft, it first flew to Orlando as VS75 in 2011 when it only had premium and economy.
I will be sad to see these planes go as I think the build quality of the seats in premium are far better than the A350/A339.
I also like having the option of the bar, the loft is just another example of VS cost cutting.

The bar is good feature on 787 and A330 but vers old interior… if they had refitted with A350, or Neo suites in UC and better seats it would have been great.

Just hope they refit the 787s they are keeping

Interesting! Flew on G-VGEM last week, although wasn't super excited at the time as it was supposed to be a neo flight and didn't know there was a swap until I boarded. That was Upper though. Agree with Joshl257 about Premium - I prefer that on the A300-300 (or 787) to the A350 (haven't tried the neo)

VKSS now in full Wamos livery, has just completed a return flight to Newquay (after a number of circuits off the South West coast) as VIR829T/830P and is back at Heathrow.
