I can! Pret meal deal is becoming more enticing by the second.

Sorry I was being sarcastic with my comment! In fairness the Premium and Economy do sound a bit better

This season, it's Hickory-smoked barbecue chicken in Economy, Pork chilli with dirty rice in Premium Economy and Rainbow banh mi rice salad bowl with warm teriyaki tofu in Upper Class.

If this is true - and I have not been able to confirm via my normal source yet - then once again, the Economy & Premium meals sound nicer than Upper. WHEN will Virgin learn...? It is hard to serve posh restaurant grade food at an altitude due to the pressure changes & affect on tastebuds (+ galley limitations). Just go for decent quality simpler food. I'd happily go for a decent quality Cumberland sausage bangers & mash - even Upper. As long as the sausages were good quality, i.e. contained meat & not from the caterers local sawmill, it's a tasty "comfort food" dish that is fairly hard to cock-up at altitude.

Think that's last year's menu. I know premium definitely had pork chilli last summer and the rice bowl was a veg option in upper.

Reported on dibb (someone asked VS on twitter) that the new menu won't be rolled out until May. I don't think you can really call it a Spring menu at that point ;-)

It doesn't matter what Virgin want to call the menu, be it Spring / Early Summer etc... based on past performance it will most likely be crap, even in Upper Class.

Probably a confusing title. No menu is”new” until it has actually been printed & loaded for customers to choose. The so called planned menu certainly seems to be what was on offer for Autumn/Winter ! Let’s hope when the final changeover of menu does happen it will be more inviting.
