Hello I've searched and cannot find an answer to this, I suspect there's nothing written and I'm relying on people having actually experienced it.

I'm currently Silver with a renewal date at end October. There's a chance I can get to gold in September so I was wondering does hitting gold trigger a reset of the year at that point, given as I've read the tier point counter gets reset at that point. As in my new year to renew gold would be 1st Oct - 30th September or would it remain as is?

I have a decent points haul potentially in October so that would help kick start the renewal year if it did change.

Thanks

I found this on the web site

Silver or Gold members: Once you're a Silver/Gold member you’ll remain in that tier provided you earn the minimum number of Tier Points for that tier within our Upgraded Fixed Membership Period (that’s 400 Tier Points to stay Silver, 1,000 Tier Points to stay Gold). This period is calculated from one day after the date on which you achieved Silver/Gold and continues for the remainder of that month plus a further 12 months.

So if you achieve gold in sept your new period would be 1st October to end of September.

Hope this help
Alan
