VS Lifetime Gold

Hi all, new here

I've been gold with VS for 5 years and am weighing up continuing. The website says that once you hit 10 years of gold you get Gold for Life.

Gold status is not actually very useful for me as I only fly Upper (and if it's too pricey will go with another carrier) but one thing I have gotten some value out of is the annual reward voucher upon renewal.

So my question is - do VS Gold for Life members get an annual reward voucher every year irrespective of flying, or must you fly 1,000 TPs to get the voucher even if GFL?

You still need to reach 1000 TP to earn the voucher unfortunately.

FYI just heard back from the Flying Club Admin team (by email) who said that the voucher is earned automatically once you have GFL with no need to earn the 1,000 TPs.

Are there any lifetime golds who can confirm this?
