Despite being in Orlando, I have our return flight leg booked next Summer as ATL-MAN because the UC redemption was so much better than anything direct from MCO. I have also booked the connection MCO-ATL on Delta through Virgin with points.
If the UC seats from MCO are significantly reduced closer to the time and we want to change to a direct flight, will we be charged the £70 fee for both flights - changing ATL to MCO and then cancelling the connection? Would be good to know as there are 5 of us so not an insignificant chunk of money!
FYI the connection fees were about £5 each so they couldn't deduct the fee from the refund!
