Hi, is anyone able to explain why on the VA flying club website the buy, gift, transfer options seemingly do nothing but refresh the current page on the website? I've literally tried for months and these seemingly do nothing. I wish to transfer points between accounts later in the year - but have no idea how....I've tried 3 different devices to do this on and several web browsers,

I know that website isn't that great, but surely this can't be broken for so long?? :-O

Thanks

Welcome to V:Flyer :)

I’ve just checked here using Safari on an iPad and all those links work for me. Do you have any content blockers/ad blockers enabled? Those may cause issues as those links to points.com all have a SSO (single sign on) step before it redirects you to the VS branded storefront points.com webpages.

Hi James and thank you, I have learned a lot from this website!

I've tried Safari & Chrome on an iphone, Windows laptop with Chrome & Edge browsers, I've even got a Macbook which is virtually out of the box and still no luck. On the computers it just refreshes the page, on the phone it opens up a blank new tab.

I'm resigned to the fact it may be my account so will contact VS when I need to transfer points later in the year, I heard a rumor the VS app may be updated later in the year so maybe this will accommodate features such as points transfers and purchases

Try on 4/5G rather than your WiFi. Internet providers can sometimes block harmless sites. Couldn’t even access my British Gas account with HeyBroadband.
