I was recently in the BA terraces lounge in NRT. This lounge is a joke. i didnt get a seat and the internet connection was shocking. However because i was not actually travelling BA that day i went into the CX lounge after the BA flight had left. This lounge, even though it is a little dull, is massive and the internet was brilliant. I know that CX have more flights a day from NRT but i think that BA would be smart to do a shared lounge with CX through there OW alliance. This would surely cut costs. Also there was an AA lounge also next door. There were three OW lounges beside each other. This is really not practical.
So my question is, why dont the three airlines just share lounges? Yes i can see how BA would like to be able to say they have a lounge there but i believe a shared lounge would be a good way to save money and make the pax happier
