Just seen the thread - answer yes! Spuds and Yorkshire Puds are always best made from the dripping of the meat (as is the gravy). Know I made chicken for you, but everybody else had beef - sorry. I have used oil to do spuds, but really they do not taste the same. Hope you can forgive
