Well, there is no snow out here in West Oxfordshire, just a light frost. [y]

It IS freezing cold though so suspect we may have a fall tonight.

Thanks,
Sarah

Remember, Retrievers are only a couple of steps up from Labs and 'food' runs deep...

I'll avoid the Damart knitted yogurts then...

Both breeds have two brain cells - one controls the eating impulse, the other, everything else. Adorable as they are, they are dimwitted [:D]

Is any more expected tonight?

Slightly concerned about the journey to Heathrow tomorrow for the VS3.

According to BBC - there is for London - a heavy dump mid evening so with any luck the gritters and ploughs will get it sorted by morning.

A link from the BBC website is entitled 'Motorists warned after Yorkshire snow'. Is this a special sort of snow, in the manner of Yorkshire tea?

I didn't need my little shovel in the end (good job as the only one I have is from the companion set) but threw a bag of dishwasher salt along the garden path in order that the postman and housekeeper don't slip over and sue me - it was bl**dy slippery in London this morning.

Apparently, if you attempt to grit/salt a pavement in or around your property and someone still falls over, you are liable. If you DON'T grit the pavement and someone falls over, they can't sue you! It's madness!

It is indeed. Slightly deeper, slightly crisper, and just a little more even than your standard, non-Yorkshire snow.

But it tends to be soggy in the middle!
