Hi,
(apologies if this ramble is a wee bit boring...)
Having not been back to Glasgow for a long time I had the unexpected pleasure of seeing a VA 747 on the tarmac at Glasgow airport on Saturday around lunchtime.
I was returning to Cork and VA check-in was also next door to my Aer Lingus flight - it really made me want "jump ships" as it were and fly off to Florida or wherever it was going.
My view of the aircraft was a little obscured so I'm not sure which plane it was but it just looked great, shimmering in the Scottish sun.
There's just something magnificent about getting that first sight of the Virgin 747. To me it encapsulates everything that is great about air travel.
I don't know what pleasure was more "unexpected" - seeing the Virgin plane or the fact that it was sunny in Glasgow!
:0
Anyway, just thought I'd share that.
Cheers!
