Last time I was in the CH there was a man at the concierge desk demanding that he and his partner should get escorted to the plane and introduced to the crew. When the concierge refused he started going on about how he and his partner were "very important". As he kept going on, the CH manager came over and just repeated what the concierge had said, that only people that meet certain criteria get the MAAS, the manager also pointed out that he was told this when he phoned up and demanded to be escorted from check in, and this was also refused. The man just said he and his partner were VIPs and should be treated as such but couldn't say how they were VIPs.
The conversation ended like all conversations do when a customer isn't getting their own way "I'm going to complain!"
I haven't seen Virgin give in in these situations. I don't understand why people act like this. v(
