The manifest should highlight UNIQs and that should prompt the FSM and CC to focus special attention. Flying to SFO last week this worked fine on the outbound, on the inbound I may as well have been FC Red.
That said, I do know that sometimes detail does not make it onto the manifest, but all the same, last Thursday night I could read it (stuck on the galley wall) and there were three Au's onboard and no one got a greeting.
If you fly on a redemption your FC number will be printed on the manifest if it got associated with your booking, otherwise in UC at least I think (ISTBC) it's a sequence of005's.
