Ok, I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I can't make my mind up between 5A and 19A on my VS20 flight coming up in August...votes on a postcard!
19A here, I personally don't like J on the upper deck.

19A also, the A zone is the best UC area on the VS fleet IMO.

Huzzah for International Jet-setting !

I'll allow it!

Just to make you feel better in your choice, 19A for me too.
Yes, 19A -- a nice private seat in the nose.
2A isn't so bad. It offers you the advantage of having a smaller cabin. Faster service and no queue for the loos, but then there's the issue of having to wait for Y pax to disembark.
I think 19A is better though. Just wanted to put in a good word for 2A.

Is 2a in the "Silent Zone" Upstairs?
If you want to sleep that might sway you. I would always go for 19A myself. For some reason I prefer UC thru the doors and turning left...

You're absolutely right. It was perfect because I needed to sleep for as long as possible.
I normally sit in 9A/K on the LGW/MAN fleet as it is not too near the front or the bar. Equivalent seats on the LHR fleet are 16A/K. Given the demise of the IFBT area, am I better in 16A/K or 19A/K on the LHR fleet for a quiet and undisturbed flight? I am conscious of the fact that row 19 is next to the wardrobes & the galley.
