Is this ironic?

I haven't heard of anything as yet. This is very much a 'test the waters' project as far as I can tell. There are no radical plans to expand Little Red aggressively at the moment, the main focus will still be on long haul operations.
When booking a Litte Red flight through our contact centre there will be a £7 charge.

Aside for the obvious typo - as with most VS announcement pages, this appears to have been done in a hurry ii) - unprofessional guys.
In addition to the credit card charges already levied? what about when booking a VS long haul flight over the phone as well as a little red one?
Mr O'Leary hiding in the wings or in the standing room only section somewhere? ):

To what are you referring?

To me that is a massive disincentive to change from BA. I go up on business for one or two nights and just don't want to have to hang around at both ends to collect luggage. If the cabin allowance really is so limited, I do hope VS reconsider.

That's an epic fail if true.

It's a totally epic fail. VS's hand baggage policy is just bizarro.

Huh? How? There are many reasons why the schedual will change, easier to crew, changes to allotted time for maintenance, changes to airport services provided, changes to airport staff shifts, ATC etc etc.
I didn't say VS would change the schedual to upset people.
The point being made was that VS wasn't passing the reason on to the customer. No need to say the customer should know because it "is common sense?". Common sense would say VS should give an explanation, at least a broad, basic and understandable one.
