My thoughts.
Upper - UCDS redesigned to take into account feedback. Still with flatbed (powered). Using same layout as A340/A360
PE - As is. 2-3-2
Eco - As is 2-4-2
Not putting money on it though.

Current plan is SEPT 2014 for the first delivery. With the first few replacing the last 343's. (Meaning an all AVOD fleet by the end of next year) ^)

gfonk wrote:If the delivery is scheduled for SEPT 2014 when do you think they may announce the configurations? ie. redesigned UCS as many v-flyers are calling for.

With the A333s it was pretty close to EIS ... I'd expect the same.
Hamster wrote:I HIGHLY doubt VS will get a First class cabin (think of all the new lounges required too!)
I hope they don't go with the UCDS, and either revert to old suite or something better (reverse herringbone would be good)
blevins wrote:I'm old enough to remember when VA launched UC with their original strapline that went something like " First Class Flying for a Busines Class fare" ? I believe I may have overheard some VA cabin crew referring to UC as "First" amongst themselves, as well?
Hamster wrote:Well for me it's...
Less width, both when sitting and sleeping
I don't have a pointy head to make use of the whole length of the bed
I have two legs, and like to sleep with both on the bed
The cabin feels very cramp
Less privacy, mainly due to the "windows"
The stupid table that springs towards you, no option to move it back.
Stupid arm rest that easily breaks
I'm sure there are other things I don't like about it that I can't think of right now :-p
There are no plans to introduce the UCDS to the current fleet so there is already a certain degree of inconsistency.

Darren Wheeler wrote:My understanding was that the UCDS did have input from passengers and even some from V-Flyer were included.
Scrooge wrote:But does that mean they actually listened to the V-Flyers ?
Having input and actually using that input are two different things.
