Hi all.
Please could someone confirm how long if took for the PE upgrade vouchers to be credited to your flying club account once you hit the anniversary date? My anni date is this week and I'm wondering how soon I'll be able to book flights. Thanks so much!

It's usually within a day or so, although mine showed on my account 3 days before the renewal date.

Hi Bretty - can I just check was that around your card anniversary date or on the statement following the renewal date? I was told by flying club they may not be added by MBNA until the statement after the renewal/anniversary date but that's another 3 weeks until my statement is generated :-(

My Annv. date of my card is 14th April. Last Voucher hit my account on May 1st

I was lucky that I had the miles to 'hold' the PE seats until my voucher arrived in my account after some helpful staff from VA allowed me to do so. Just to make sure I didnt lose out on the seats when they popped up (after 6 months of checking!)

something similar happened to me the previous year! Had the voucher early.
Then the following year the voucher appeared late. So went 4 weeks with no active voucher.

I went through this in early 2015. My anniversary date was fast approaching and no upgrade vouchers posted. I called MBNA to ask what the deal was as I did not want to renew for another year but I did not want to cancel card until the vouchers were posted. They said I had called a little too early and I should wait a bit, which I did and still no vouchers. So I called again after anniversary date had come and gone and explained the situation, the person I spoke to went to talk to their supervisor/manager and then said that I would be able to get a refund of the credit card fee as long as I had not used my card(s) after the anniversary date. So that was fine, I put the cards away in a drawer never to be used....waited patiently....but still no vouchers. By this point I had been charged the renewal fee. I waited some more and finally the vouchers posted. I called up MBNA again to ask for the card to be cancelled and the fee to be waived per previous conversation and they were fine with this. Cancelled my direct debit. Cue a month or two later, I get an unpaid bill letter for the renewal fee....how annoying. Got on the phone again (4th time now!) to explain, the lady swiftly dealt with waiving the fee and ensuring I was sent a paper statement to prove that the balance on the closed account was £0. From the various phone calls I made, it is clear that not all the people have the same knowledge and if you aren't satisfied, call up again and try a different person!

Glad to hear that others did not have this hassle. Now I need to get booking some Florida flights in the Reward Sale (I've been patiently waiting for a sale to come up!!)
